I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Graeme Freeman, Mr. Alec Freeman and The Freeman Foundation for granting me the opportunity to study abroad at Seoul National University during the Spring 2019 semester! Studying abroad has always been a dream of mine and being able to represent the Shidler College of Business as a Freeman Scholar is an absolute honor. Without your generous contributions, my efforts to study abroad may not have been possible.

I am currently a junior studying Accounting, Management Information Systems, and Human Resource Management. Being that I grew in Hawai'i all my life, I am most excited to step into a foreign country where I have never been before. Allowing myself to immerse in the Korean culture will widen my horizon through an international perspective. I truly believe that this experience will allow me to find my strengths and weaknesses and challenge myself in a competitive environment that will shape me both personally and professionally.

I would also like to extend a special thank you to Rikki Matsunaga and The MIX Program for their endless guidance and support for my study abroad journey.

I look forward to sharing my experiences with you all!
